THESIS PREPARATION and SUBMISSION PROCESS
BEFORE AND AFTER ENTERING THE THESIS JURYTHESIS WRITING PROCESSLIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE GRADUATE SCHOOL AT THE TIME OF THESIS SUBMISSION

Students who will appear before the thesis jury must first arrange their thesis defense date and jury appointments. (Form 5).

After the advisor has verified that the thesis complies with the template and format specified by the Graduate School, it must be sent to the relevant email address below at least one month before the defense date:

Following a successful thesis defense, the student must make the necessary content and structural revisions, which are then reviewed by the advisor, after which the thesis specialist grants approval for printing. The submission deadline to the Graduate School is one month from the defense date. Upon the student’s request, this period may be extended by one additional month (pursuant to Articles 32/7 and 41/6 of the Çankaya University Graduate Education–Instruction Regulations). A student who fails to submit the thesis on time may not receive their diploma or benefit from student rights until the requirements are fulfilled, and if the maximum allowable period expires, their enrollment will be TERMINATED (pursuant to Article 32/11 of the Çankaya University Graduate Education–Instruction Regulations).

  • Thesis (1 copy)
  • Thesis metadata entry form (to be obtained from the National Thesis Center). An ORCID number must be obtained for the thesis metadata entry form. All fields in the National Thesis Center system must be checked, and information must be updated if incomplete. Click here for the process of creating the thesis metadata entry form.
  • Form 7A/B and Form 14A/B (if your department’s instructional language is English, the English versions of the forms must be completed). These forms may be updated periodically; therefore, please obtain the current versions from https://lee.cankaya.edu.tr/formlar/.
  • Printout of the first and last pages of the Turnitin report (must bear the advisor’s signature).
